A new introduction.

This is an every day account of love, life, faith and loss.  It's not always happy, but I try to be optimistic.

Perfectly understandable, changing the journal name. Confused me for a minute, though. :-)

In celebration of your new journal, I have a friend making you some lovely surprises. (It may take a week or so.)

Mazel tov on your move and your new lj identity. I found your blog through one of the groups, when you posted some articles and poems you submitted on a mikvah website. You are incredibly talented, and your mikvah attendees are lucky to have you as an addition.
Kol tuv,

Hi, I just friended you because I really enjoyed your old journal. I hope that's ok. Bye now

I'm an LJ friend of Ellen's, and after seeing your comments in her journal and some posts on a few communities, I had been reading your other journal for a while. I hope that doesn't sound as creepy as I think it sounds, I promise I'm not a stalker.

Anyhow, I was wondering if I might add you to my friends list?

Hey! I've been appreciating your contributions to weirdjews2 for a while now and have been meaning to add you as a friend for some time - G-D knows I need more chassidim on my friends page.

Anyway, Tim's recent post inspired me to finally get around to it, somehow. So hi. And shavua tov by the time you read this, I imagine.

With my MIA-ness, I forgot to ask to be friended to your new journal (if I haven't been already).

"Kosher" food
Do you buy your 'kosher' food at Fairway? If not, where do you go?
Whenever I go to the UWS, I see many restaraunts, but no grocery stores.

Mazal Tov on your move!

Re: "Kosher" food
We do buy a lot of Kosher food at Fairway, but also at the Kosher marketplace or Supersol up in the 90s and high 80s, respectively.

Hi - I just found your blog while looking at "The Hunt" stories in the Times archives and was totally charmed. You're a great writer and I'm so happy to have found your site. I love your story of running into Roger Bart - he's a favorite of mine as well. Keep up the good work!
